Lip Filler Treatment

For Fuller, More Defined Lips.

Lip Filler is used to increase the volume of the lips as well as improve the definition and shape of the lip. Using a small amount of Filler we can also perform Lip Corrections such as an uneven Lip.

Who is Lip Filler For?

Lip Filler is for anyone who wants to enhance the look of their Lips or change the shape of their Lips.  Lip corrections such as a crooked or uneven lip can also be performed.

What Lip Filler Do We Use?

At Amara I use the Juvederm range of Fillers as they are currently the most advanced on the market. Juvederm is made of Hyaluronic Acid which is found naturally in the body and molds seamlessly with the lips. Juvederm Dermal Filler also contains a local anesthetic to numb the lips – that combined with ice packs and experienced technique makes the treatment virtually painless.

How Do We Get The Perfect Lip?

Using the Golden Ratio from da Vinci I measure the perfect lip for you! Many people come to me with a specific set of lips in mind typically from a celebrity. But what looks good on others may not look good on you! Depending on your face shape your ‘perfect lip’ is different to everybody else’s. The perfect ratio for lips is 1:1.6 meaning you bottom lip should be .6 bigger than your top lip. How this looks  is completely dependant on you/ It is also important to have a good shaped cupid’s bow – we achieve this by adding Filler to the two lines below the nose that  connect the lip if needed.

Does Lip Filler Hurt?

Juvederm Dermal filler contains a local anaesthetic to numb the lips during and after the treatment. We also use ice packs to numb the lips prior to the treatment and ice packs can also be applied later to help with any swelling. The doctor’s technique and experience will also affect any pain – the more experience a doctor has the better the technique.

How Much Is Lip Filler?

The price for 1ml of Filler is £400. Typically 1 ml of Dermal Filler would be used for Lips but this can all be covered in your consultation.
